There are stories that outlast it all. There are creatures that remain in the collective imagination forever. We are not talking about dragons or dinosaurs, we are talking about… Zombies!

Slow, clumsy and incredibly mean. Somebody says you can only kill them by cutting off their heads, others say they do not move during the day, or others say they have seen them running and others say that they are incredibly looking like relatives or friends. Some transmit a zombie disease to those they manage to bite, others fall victim to necromantic spells, but all, all must die. Ah, but aren’t they already dead, are they? Who knows!

Some, like Will Smith featuring in “I Am Legend”, try to stay away from these creatures, victims of a contagion that spreads by contact. Others, like Brad Pitt featuring in “World War Z”, collect scalps, trying to stop its advance. Still others summon them with dark spells and use them as servants. There are also those who, like Wednesday Addams or inveterate Goths, treat them like kittens, even though they certainly don’t purr.

And there are also those, like CMON, who miniaturize and box them. In many, many boxes. Zombicide is now a brand of undisputed fame, an enormous game made up of many chapters, settings and scenarios, where the gameplay is simple: 1-take up arms, many, big and bad (but even a frying pan can often do the trick), 2 -use them often and willingly, 3-when you’ve done what you have to do (get a hamburger at a fast food restaurant, save a defenseless damsel or sabotage supercomputers of evil multinationals), run away. Or kill more, and then… run away anyway.

The plot is simple: something very bad has happened to the world, be it medieval, fantasy or sci-fi, and zombies have arrived. Fat, thin, fast, slow, small, big, clean, dirty, with blue or brown eyes. With or without hair, arms, legs or head. And we, playing as waitresses still holding a grudge from that last customer who had been dirty or as civil servants who even before the apocalypse were surrounded by the undead or even as wizards who began looking like that weed-smoking Lord of the Rings sorcerer Hobbit pipe, we must survive. We can’t do it alone: we need any help offered and in a cooperative game, light-hearted and angry enough to set the gaming table on fire with one wrong roll of the dice, we’ll get up from our chairs more than once to plot, initiate, manage movements and actions but above all, to kill. Many. Zombie.

In the midst of this apocalyptic chaos, we need to organize ourselves. On the other hand, our friends can’t wait to get the dance started, and when we host them, we can’t afford to let the extermination hype go down. Tokens, cards, and lots and lots of miniatures will be in place in no time with our Zombicide products.

We have for all tastes: from the Urban series, which includes Zombicide Season 1, Prison Outbreak and Rue Morgue, to Zombicide Black Plague, up to the 2nd Edition. And since we know very well that when the zombie hype rises, expansions are never enough, we also have the Zombie Lair in our arsenal, which can accommodate up to 99 standard-sized zombies and can be easily inserted into one of the boxes of Zombicide.

Once they escape, then, it will be child’s play to put everything back in order, waiting for the next extermination.

For mass slaughter made with criteria, on the other hand, maximum organization is needed. Shut up, and kill that zombie!
