There comes a moment in the life of every Wingspan player when something happens. At first, everything is simple: one box, a few birds, some eggs, a bit of food, and the feeling that you’re finally ready to build your own little bird paradise. Then Europe arrives. “Well, it’s an expansion, makes sense.” Then Oceania. “Okay, we’re committed now.” Then Asia. “Fine, this one is a must-have.” And finally, Americas arrives. At that point, you’re no longer playing Wingspan: you’re running a national park.
The problem is that the birds, apparently, have no intention of stopping. With Americas, the latest major expansion in the series, come new birds from across the Americas, new components, and even more ways to expand the game. And along with all those birds comes a much less poetic question: where are we supposed to put all this stuff?
Because Wingspan is one of those games that looks perfectly manageable on paper. Then you open the expansion boxes and start playing the classic game within the game: finding a place for every single component without one card ending up underneath a player board, a token disappearing into another expansion box, and an entire deck of birds getting lost somewhere around the house. That’s where our Wingspan: The New All In organizer from The Dicetroyers comes in.
The idea is as simple as it is ambitious: all of Wingspan, in one box. The base game, Europe, Oceania, Asia and Americas can finally live under the same roof, without having to build a logistics chain worthy of an international airport every time you want to play. The organizer has been specifically designed to bring the entire Wingspan universe together and turn what had become a collection of boxes into one neat, organized system.
And this is where the real strength of the organizer comes in: it’s not simply about putting components “somewhere.” Everything has its place. Player trays, resource containers, eggs, nectar, tokens, dice and the various expansion components are all organized so they’re immediately accessible during the game. The card holders also make it easy to manage the different decks without having to go through a preliminary session of industrial archaeology every time you set up.
The true Dicetroyers philosophy is that of the setupper: open the box, take out the trays, and you’re practically ready to play. No mountains of zip bags, no components scattered all over the table, no “wait, let me check the Oceania box.” And, above all, no need to have a photographic memory just to remember where that particular token ended up the last time you saw it, roughly six months ago.
The arrival of Americas makes everything even more interesting. New birds, new cards and new components inevitably mean even more stuff to organize. The great thing is that the All In was designed precisely to keep up with this evolution: Wingspan can continue to grow without the number of boxes taking over your shelves.
And if you really want to take things one step further, why stop at the organizer? The Dicetroyers also came up with a dedicated dice tower for Wingspan, designed to integrate into the system and replace the original one. Because if we’re going to build the perfect ecosystem, we might as well take care of the dice too.
In the end, that’s the real paradox of Wingspan: a relaxing, elegant and contemplative game that, after a few expansions, can turn your table into an international bird-distribution center. At least now there’s a way to put everything back in order.
Europe, Oceania, Asia, Americas and the base game: all together, finally.
The birds can keep multiplying.
The boxes, however, can’t.
