Unity is strength, especially in the board game market. More often than one thinks, the influences between publishing houses are transformed into contaminations, re-editions, changes of hand of titles. Therefore, generally speaking, we always try to help each other to achieve our goals in this beautiful world.

One of the fundamental steps to transform a title from beautiful to international is the translation, which is an opportunity for the various publishers, especially during the most important fairs such as the one in Essen, to exchange, opinions, more or less important market informations, handshakes and hugs, in addition to exclusive contracts for the market in which the game is located. Other opportunities for collaboration arise, for example, when whoever creates a board game start looking for a publisher: the rumors, about what the new project of the designer on duty is or could be like, are another opportunity to tighten relationships between the various protagonists of the international gaming scene.

This clearly does not disregard the competition, of course, which however is often healthy and proactive. On the other hand, publishers are often players and know that the rules, even the unwritten ones, must be respected in order to win honestly.

We at The Dicetroyers do not (for now!) create board games but, despite this, our products are often felt, especially by the most forward-thinking publishers, as a great added value to complete the gaming experience of every board gamer. Focusing on the organizational aspect, in fact, our work is often well judged by the creators of board games: removing “chestnuts” from the fire of disorder is always a source of great satisfaction.

Within a few years we have managed to make ourselves known just enough to turn precious spotlights on our products and we have been more than suprised by the fact that in such a short time publishing houses have started knocking on our door.

Creators of the caliber of CGE and Pendragon Game Studio were able to carefully evaluate our products and solid collaborations were born that led us to an open and honest mutual exchange, but also to relationships that we can call friendship.

Setuppers for Pulsar 2849, The Lost Ruins of Arnak, Through The Ages, Last Aurora, Starship Captains were born from these collaborations and many more will be: they have become official products for the respective gdt, passing under the magnifying glass of those who created these games, and they became appreciated both by players and authors.

The Dicetroyers firmly believe in the fact that collaboration, friendship and healthy relationships even between competing realities can only benefit the fantastic world of board games.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the gaming scene is one of the fastest growing sectors in recent years. Because freedom is participation. And participation is… collaboration!
