There are a few settings that have carved out—and will forever hold—a place in the hearts of us nerds, for better or worse. Universes like Star Wars or Star Trek for sci-fi lovers, or, on a more earthly scale, Middle-earth for fantasy fans.

Back in 1965, a man named Frank Herbert embarked on a journey that few other authors (yes, we’re looking at you, Mr. Asimov and Mr. Tolkien) dared to undertake: to create a world—well, in this case, a galaxy—where more or less fantastical races battle over something incredibly valuable. Around this central point—be it a ring, a prophecy, or an exotic mineral rarer and more important than Technetium—characters, philosophies, cultures, ethics, and even entire languages (like Elvish or Klingon) unfold in a whirlwind that makes us live not just a story, but an entire life in a parallel universe.

The narrative universe of Dune is a strange one. Unlike epic space battles or the eternal struggle between good and evil in medieval lands, here we dive straight into politics, intrigue, morality, and factions. Sure, there’s a sense of good and evil, but the dividing line is blurred, nearly invisible, and entirely subjective.

You could describe the Harkonnens as ruthless, capitalist-driven slavers, or the Atreides as benevolent visionaries undone by perhaps too much trust in others… But that would be overly simplistic.

Then again, when your house is exterminated and they take not only your home but all your valuable assets, there’s only one thing to do: fight back and rise in rebellion. And this is where the epic battle of Dune: War for Arrakis begins.

CMON picks up where War of the Ring left off—using the same talented designers—and reworks that proven path through a Herbertian lens, bringing Muad’Dib and his enemies into a clash for every last… grain of spice.

Stunning miniatures, a ton of cards, and a board representing an entire planet turn any (very large) table into one of the most breathtaking and evocative battlefields we’ve ever seen.

Of course, playing a great game is one thing—setting it up like a pro is another. That’s exactly why we at The Dicetroyers rolled up our sleeves for this gem: our custom organizer for Dune: War for Arrakis keeps Harkonnens, Atreides, and all their components neatly separated and battle-ready in just minutes.

Because when the going gets tough, the tough start waging war. For Arrakis!
